The Sticky Bandits are an Australian band from Canberra , ACT formed in late 2011. The band has always consisted of three brothers Daniel,Tim and Jesse Robinson with other members coming and going over the years. At the moment the fourth member is Ben Slabb on vocals. Their first 6 track EP was released on the 1St of Febuary 2014 with a good reception, based on the single Scared and Alone. In earley 2015 the band turned a new page and started to record a new album with their new singer Slabby. With a tour in between and lots of gigs the second studio EP, Dust Off The Vinyl was released on the 19th of November 2016. The Sticky Bandits have appeared on multiple radio shows and stations such as the ABC. they have also featured on the TV show Underneath the radar, due to air in earley 2018. The music the Sticky Bandits play is a mixing pot of spices, sounds, rhythms and tender frequencies formed on the traditonal blues and roots and soulful pop of older times, fused with the newer raw brashness of punk. Not to forget the grooving sounds and beats of reggea. Mix all these elements together and you come close to describing the sound of the Sticky Bandits. YEARS ACTIVE - late 2011 until present.
