The entertaining true story of the origins of the franchise that took over the world, and the masterminds behind the golden arches.

Michael Keaton (Oscar nominee, Birdman) brings his considerable talents to the manipulative-yet-charming role of Ray Kroc, a salesman from Illinois. Kroc meets Mac and Dick McDonald (John Carroll Lych, Fargo, and Nick Offernan, The LEGO Movie) in the 1950s and is impressed by their innovative burger operation in Southern California. Looking to franchise the shop, Kroc faces some problems with the brothers’ high standards and considered approach, so maneuvers himself into a position to be able to take control and create the now-ubiquitous billion-dollar empire.

“A ripper of a story in which persistence and determination forge the pathway to success, this is an enthralling film filled with surprises.” – Urban Cinefile
